   Jun-04-04 V Soultanbeieff vs V I Borodin, 1943 (replies)

davedude: Black certainly ran out of options in a hurry. I looked through the Opening Explorer, but wasn't able to find a refutation to the White attack that begins with 13. Nxc6. Any ideas?

   Jun-04-04 N Dimova vs T Plachkinova, 2001

davedude: In Soultanbeieff vs Borodin, 1943, White played 13. Nxc6 in this position. With his black-squared bishop holding the g-pawn it was only a few moves before he was able to push the f-pawn with devastating results.

   Apr-03-04 Najdorf vs J H Donner, 1950 (replies)

davedude: <rochade18: Bb5 wins if the Knight moves away.> Even if the Knight goes to b8? It seems to me that after 10...Nb8 11Bb5 bxc6 White still has 2 pieces hanging. Does White have another trick up his sleeve or is there a better reply to 10...Nb8?
