gebminds: Yes, but the line leads to more boring and less active play. the intentions behind the Yugoslav Attack (moves f3, Bc4 and Qd2 by white)are completely isolated from the picture. I play the dragon often, and find that in classical variations, the games are usually a draw.

gebminds: I also find that the critisism towards players not resigning is pathetic. Chess is as much a phsycological game as it is a board game. The effect of having a wiining positon is large, but it also takes thinking to show a top player why the position is good. It also must go into ...
