hackmate: ROOKHOUSE LIES (4 so far)

The following lies from <rookhouse> can be found on the Bobby Fischer page

Robert James Fischer

DECEMBER 26, 2008

<rookhouse - As it was pointed out earlier, the bogus book magically appeared after Fischer's death.>

The book was auctioned on eBay in December of 2007 while Fischer was very much alive. Many websites and blogs around the world mentioned this. I 1st heard about it then too.

Once the auction was stopped "everything went underground" out of fear. Now that it is obvious that Fischer must have been involved people are talking about it again.

Whether Fischer could have done this legally or not is another question and besides the point. He couldn't legally play Spassky in 1992 and that didn't stop him.

DECEMBER 27, 2008

<rookhouse - and the other site pulled most of the comments because the book was being exposed as a fraud.>

Another case of <rookhouse> making up his own version of things without furnishing his favorite word, "proof".

Let's go back to the source, Larry Evans.

Now look for "WHY THE AUCTION WAS CANCELLED" in bold letters.

<I have property in my possession that I neither wanted, sought out, nor seek to hold onto. Bobby Fischer has never met me, nor I him. He was in love with a very dear friend of mine.>

and scrolling down a bit more

<I told some of the bidders I would take the auction down because of someone named 'JewsAgainstFischer' constantly harassing me and threatening me with bodily harm. I forwarded these threats to eBay and asked what could be done to protect my privacy. They said they have 'boiler plate' auction cancellation notifications, and asked me if the wording was OK. There was no quicker way to get it offline and shield me from the email threats.>

There is the real reason.

Another <rookhouse lie> has been corrected.

<rookhouse - Then why has nobody else posted this fake book for sale on e-Bay? They would easily get more money for it there than anywhere else. Answer: the book is a fake.>

$500 for one book

$800 for one book

Another <rookhouse lie> has been shown here, or can you show me a link on eBay where the book was selling for more than $800 per copy?

DECEMBER 30, 2008

Some history about this next rookhouse lie. Another person named robmtchl denied that he posted to another blog about something. I contacted the blog owner and he said that robmtchl did. I attacked robmtchl and he was man enough to admit his mistake in a calm fashion. Before robmtchl recanted his statement and admitted his error, rookhouse claimed I made this up. So, this is another rookhouse lie. I appreciate robmtchl admitting his mistake and I believe it was not deliberate, unlike the lying rookhouse.

<rookhouse - You obviously took part of an e-mail from "Martin" and added a few sentences of your own in an attempt to discredit an honest man.

That is, if ANY of the e-mail were actually written by anyone other than yourself.

You're attempts at deceit are getting weaker with every post. Do yourself a favor and go away.>

and now the post by robmtchl confirming my statement.

<robmtchl ### Okay. If he says I did, maybe I did. What you need to understand is that Sam Sloan atacks me on dozens of sites EVERYWHERE. I can't remember each of the ones I have had to respond to the.>

Come on <rookhouse> post some more of your facts so I can show how every post of yours is a lie. So far I have a perfect score against you.

hackmate: <Brady says that one of Fischer's people approached> One of Fischer's people? <Frank brady was contacted by someone in Iceland> And your conclusion was Trice was one of Fischer's people from Iceland? Talk about B.S.

hackmate: A court of law never ruled on the book being a hoax. There was a defamation lawsuit based on a posting to a discussion board. The lawsuit did not involve the book at all. Whatever happened to all of the "the book doesn't exist" posts? People (I forget who) said there was no way for

hackmate: Bobby had a lot of respect for Eugene. He mentions a few of his analysis sessions with him in My 61 Memorable Games which came out in 2007 then all but disappeared. http://my61memorablegames.wordpress... Eugene was one of the few people Fischer continued to trust until very late ...
