   Jan-01-13 A Mithil vs D Aaron, 2011 (replies)

hedgehog: 25. e6 looks good to me.

   Jan-18-08 Robert James Fischer (replies)

hedgehog: RIP Bobby Fischer. Great Chess Champion.

Mar-18-07 Van Wely vs Ivanchuk, 2007 (replies)

hedgehog: <dehanne> See what you mean. http://home.wanadoo.nl/daniel.brore...

Mar-12-07 Aronian vs Anand, 2007 (replies)

hedgehog: <kinggambits> Yes i would have played 45..Ke7. I can only think that Anand wanted to prevent the White h-pawn from advancing. In any case if I were Black at move 45 I wouldn't be hoping for much.

   Mar-05-07 L Horta vs M Dos Santos, 1984 (replies)

hedgehog: <charms>Also 1...b5! practically leaves White looking foolish to continue.

   Mar-04-07 Spassky vs D J Banks, 1971 (replies)

hedgehog: Whenever someone plays e6 against my e4 I always smile secretly (not that I always do well against the French), but when someone plays d5 I smile even more. What a miserable dat for Black. "excuse me while i wipe you off the board" sort of game.

hedgehog: <tpstar> Thanks for that and the links. It gives 8902 (after Whites 2nd move) on the page, which makes sense since it is roughly 400 * 20. Of Course if you could continue solving this you could 'solve' Chess.

Feb-11-07 Akopian vs Kuzubov, 2007 (replies)

hedgehog: Could someone please explaint to me why 19 Qb5 cannot be played. I think i must be having a Chess blindness moment

   Jan-17-07 R Jamieson vs Unzicker, 1976 (replies)

hedgehog: <tjraczko> yes of course thanks, calculating without a board. Still it works just about. 34 Nf6+ Rxf6 35 Qxe8+.

   Jan-16-07 Corus Group A (2007) (replies)

hedgehog: Could Van Wely look to dominate the 7th Rank?
