jack1501: CONGRATULATIONS TO Viswanathan Anand AND Veselin Topalov on a well fought match!

jack1501: well if this is decided by rapid play then all i have to say is that this is not a championship match. all previous matches have been 24 games with regular time controls. any title won by rapid time controls is just that a rapid time control victory. not a traditional championship.

jack1501: i also noticed that you have these game of the day dates missing: 5 - 8 - 2004 10 - 22 - 2004 4 - 30 - 2005 10 - 25 -2005 ( i feel like the games for these dates have been repeated ) i also am missing those dates from a list that i started during the first Christmas contest.

jack1501: i was looking for some chess games from 1953 that were played in a preliminary tournament in 1953 in moscow. i think it would be nice if in the advanced game search had an option to put the place and/or tournament name in a search box.

jack1501: does anyone remember who the player of the day, opening of the day, saying of the day and who the birthday players of the day were for 12/5/2008?

jack1501: it would be nice if those games against Capablanca could be posted here
Oct-21-08 Anand vs Kramnik, 2008 (replies)
jack1501: I think it is past time to resign this game and the match! It would take a complete collapse on Anand's part to even give Kramnik a chance at drawing the match!
   Oct-20-08 L Rudenko vs V Borisenko-Belova, 1954 (replies)
jack1501: how do you know this is the first breyer defense in the database?
