jdb22601: 12. Qxb4??? deserving of each and every one of these question marks. i mean that is insane and not the move of a world champion. what a crazy move and it deserved its punishment |

Jan-16-05 Topalov vs Ponomariov, 2005
|
jdb22601: the result here surprised me but Ruslan is obvious rusty. the game was beautifully driven home by Topalov |

Jan-10-05 Corus Group A (2005)
|
jdb22601: i think nakamura not being invited to b section declares simply put that organizers have no intentions of letting an american sneak into the top players category anytime soon. Something needs to be done about this now....or could be a major issue down road |

Jan-10-05 L Bruzon Batista vs Fridman, 2004
|
jdb22601: well ok after 112....Bxg7 113. Kf5! (wanting to get to g6) to setup same type situation as in final position 113...kh7 loses to 114. R move along seventh king back to g8 Kg6! if 113...B moves then Kg6 Kf8 and white will combine threats of attacking the bishop and mating on back ... |

Jan-10-05 B Nickoloff vs Benjamin, 1988

Jan-10-05 Petrosian vs Szabo, 1953
|
jdb22601: fizix on 7...bd7 i think this allows 8.qe4 threatening 9.qxb7 and 9.qe5 hitting h8 and c5 pawn. althought this is pawn hunting i think white gets by with it . at end i think white should reply to bh6 with qf3 and kf2 instead of ur suggested king moves |
