   Sep-17-09 Stein vs V Lepeshkin, 1965 (replies)

kolio: I didn't see Qe4, but saw 26...Qh5 27.Bb7 Qg4+ 27.Kf8 (Bg6 Rxg6+) 28.Rxf7 Qxf7 29.Qg7+ and white are queen for a rook with winning the rook soon after. I also looked at 26.Rxe6 Qxe6 27.Qxb7, but that doesn't work because of 27...Ra7

   Dec-02-05 G Minchev vs K Kolev, 1991 (replies)

kolio: I looked at 32. Rb1 Qxb1 33. Ne7+ Qxe7 (otherwise black gets mated) 34. Rxb1

   Oct-13-05 L Perdomo vs L Duarte, 2005 (replies)

kolio: <trumbull0042> I also looked at 28. Rf4 but then saw that after 28. ... Qa7 black has a good counter play. 28. Rf4 Qa7 29.Nh5 transposes into the game played. If 28. Rf4 Qa7 29. Rg4 (the variation I looked at) then 29. ... Rd4 followed be Rd1+ and c4+ and black creates mate ...

kolio: <WannaBe> 34. Qb3 Bb5 35.Rb8 Ba6 (35. ... a6 37. b4 winning the rook or the bishop) 37.Be3 Qc6 (otherwise black loses the rook) 38. Rxg8+ Kxg8 39.Qb8#
