   Dec-03-10 P Trifunovic vs Eliskases, 1937 (replies)

mrmietus: Well... Maybe black should not exchange Queenes but what after 29. ... g6 Does white has something? Because 29. ...Kd6 was a nightmare. Allowing to be placed forever on c7, no hope. And after g6 black could play, for example, h5, f5 and be fine. So, does anybody have analysis? I ...

   Oct-25-10 A Laster vs R Gahtan, 1975 (replies)

mrmietus: 13...Qa7? when 13...e6xd5 would take the Kd5 and recover the exchange O lol, what about 13. .. exd5 14.exd6+ ? "why the game becomes selected after the fact" I guess that it is not imperessive to sack so many pieces and succeed.

Aug-19-10 Capablanca vs Lasker, 1921 (replies)

mrmietus: 9. ... Qa5 was a nice move for me. It led to equality and although, later, I realised that it is as good or maybe beter than Cambridge Springs variation. Capa notes as good as always. I smiled when he said that taking with the pawn could be unclear because in blitz I always take ...

   Jul-30-10 Naiditsch vs Leko, 2010

mrmietus: 21... d5 is a blunder... Nice, instructive game for me. It showed me how to use rooks in that kind of positions. I knew they are drawn but now I see how to do it.

   Jul-22-10 J Owen vs Zukertort, 1878 (replies)

mrmietus: Well, these sacrifices were really cheap... Poor game.

   Jul-22-10 Staunton / Owen vs Lowenthal / Barnes, 1856

mrmietus: I thought what went wrong for black and I was thinking about Nxe5 to play at some moment. And my computer says that that move would be much better than h6 on move 18. That is just material advantage for black who could win.

Jul-06-10 Bronstein vs Miles, 1975 (replies)

mrmietus: 44 ... Qh4+ 45 Qg3 Qxg3 46 Kxg3 Ne2+ 47 Kf2 Nxc3 And I don't think that white holds.

   Apr-20-10 P Leonhardt vs Capablanca, 1911 (replies)

mrmietus: <quote>Bc6! a master stroke</quote> Don't think so, it's just a plan with b5. Generaly, I consider Capalanca as a player who seems to be born to play chess - that game is just like designed for him. But for me, he didn't show special interest in studying so his games ...

Apr-20-10 Capablanca vs Alekhine, 1913 (replies)

mrmietus: Really nice game! I like 3.e3 followed be Nd2 since now! But I think that better was 8. ... a6 not 8. ... dxc4. Openning the game was apparently good only for white. :)
