   Apr-28-08 B Rositsan vs A Hervais, 1998 (replies)

nsppp: You are absolutely right DualCore. That's the way to win.I think rook and a pawn vs knight is a completely winning endgame. And one more thing-Qxe8 does absolutely nothing, after Qxe8 white is lost.

Apr-02-07 Anand vs Topalov, 2005 (replies)

nsppp: I think playing such positions is an art and a pleasure for the spectators in the same time.In such cases the dynamic of chess can be understood and the material balance is not always the most important thing. The positions that are met during the game are difficult for evaluation. And ...

Apr-02-07 Kashdan vs Euwe, 1932 (replies)

nsppp: Very easy.It took me microseconds to see it.But it's a nice game.I think 26...Qg7 is losing the game immediately.

   Feb-21-07 Tal vs H Hecht, 1962 (replies)

nsppp: Maybe 25...Kxd6 is a mistake for black.Black has to exchange the active white bishop(25...Bxc4)and that's probably the best chance to survive. Also after 25...Kxd6 26.Bxa6 26...Nf5 is a mistake. The only chance is to play 26...Rb8 and take control of the b-file.

nsppp: looks very dangerous

   Feb-21-07 Kasparov vs K Georgiev, 1988 (replies)

nsppp: In spite of all I think we shouldn't be so critical of Garry Kasparov because that's a blitz game.Probably he have had 1-2 sec or something like that.

   Feb-21-07 K Georgiev vs Kasparov, 1988 (replies)

nsppp: Very good positional play by Kiril Georgiev.Although it's a blitz game I think it's a strong one.

Feb-21-07 Tal vs Karpov, 1987 (replies)

nsppp: A stunning contest. For me it's always pleasure to watch Tal's games.

Feb-13-07 Bobotsov vs Tal, 1958 (replies)

nsppp: Another spectacular game.Accepting the queen sacrifice looks dangerous for white. It's interesting to note that after 11...Nxd5 white can play 12.exd5 or cxd5 with approximately equal position. The game's very beautiful and Tal is my favourite player.
