PaulMurphy on ICC also.
Greetings from Winston-Salem, NC, USA
This handle - PaulMurphy - is a joke, and a joke that only chess players will get. Name’s Tom, actually. You see, Morphy is a somewhat unusual name, and Morphy was an very unusually strong player; whereas Murphy is an ordinary name, and I am a very ordinary player. These contrasts: Morphy/Murphy, strong/weak, him/me, makes this FUNNY! So when you log onto ICC for some 5 minute, and you get paired with me, the initial excitement: “MY GOD, ITS MORPHY!!” soon subsides. “Nope, it’s just Murphy.”

paulmurphy: "Amazing performance" ? Amazing double blunder 32 Nd4? Kg6? We weekies can find 32 Qxb7, and 32 ...Bd5. Take the Bishop! Save the Bishop!

paulmurphy: This game is classic, and amazing, Bronstein. Look at moves 35-38. Having already sacrificed the exchange, he marches his king forward into a board swarming with pieces, then advances and exchanges the only pawn in front of his King. Incredible.

paulmurphy: The recent Karpov-Kasparov 1984 kibitzing sent me off to Opening Explorer to learn more about the Tarrasch, where I found this. My old Frtiz (4.01) and I can't believe a 2542 player missed 17 Nb6. Can chessgames.com hot new Crafty believe it?

paulmurphy: Too bad, because Estrin and Spassky both had similar styles - wide open. But I wonder if your facts are correct, Bishop - this very database shows these two meeting again 3 years later.
