piscine2000: KID is not a good practical choice: the GM's long-term planning skills will come to the forefront. Benoni? Nah... QGD, Semi-Slavo, Nimzo/Queen's Indian, Grünfeld are all reasonable. Of these, I prefer Nimzo/QID, with QGD as choice #2. If Nimzo, what line to play against 4.Qc2?
