Ng5+ Kg8 14.Qh5 Qxg5!, it's a narrow path to victory. After 15. Bxg5, the only winning move for black is 15...Nxd4, with the idea of 16. ...      Jun-14-20 Carlsen vs Caruana, 2020   sconibulus: 9...Nd4 was the only move for black, after which both sides have the threat of capturing the opponent's c-pawn with a fork. The game would be roughly equal. This 9...c6 blunder is pretty puzzling to me. It's line begins 35. Qf8+ Rg7, despite the fact that there are only two legal moves for black on move 35! Only at depth 39 did it finally find the correct 35...Kh5 for black.
