shoshonte: i can't figure this out! I've tried everything. I know that biga are not valid but i can't figure out how to find a game using those letters or the name of the chart or anything.

Dec-21-14 Van Wely vs Kramnik, 1998 (replies)

shoshonte: On the opening of this game, it seems like 16. Kh1 was a mistake. Better was 16.Kf1 avoiding the eventual Qh2 with check. If 15...Qc7 instead of Bxh2, 16. Be2 seems to hold for white as in the game Goganov-Bajarani 2011

   Dec-21-14 M Bluvshtein vs V Baghdasaryan, 2010

shoshonte: On an opening aspect, 17. Bd3 is an improvement for white planning 18.e5 with tempo on the knight

   Dec-21-14 R Jumabayev vs P Maletin, 2011

shoshonte: On the opening of this game, 17.Bd3 was an improvement prepping 18.e5 with tempo on the knight.

   Dec-21-14 M Tratar vs M Palac, 2012

shoshonte: On an opening aspect of this game... 17.Be2! was an improvement for white planning to meet Be5 with Na4.

   Dec-21-14 So vs A Baryshpolets, 2013

shoshonte: White is winning after 65. Rxa2. it'll be hard to win against perfect defense but Baryshpolets just commits suicide on move 65 with Ra6?? I think from an opening standpoint 17. Be2 planning Bf3 after c5 is an improvement.

   Dec-21-14 Reshevsky vs Fine, 1937

shoshonte: Fine missed the move 17...Bxh3 winning a pawn although after 18. Ne2 Qg4 19. Ng3 Nxd5 20. Qxb7 black's only slightly better. See Valeinis - Sakai 2004

Dec-21-14 Geller vs Taimanov, 1952 (replies)

shoshonte: 69.Ra7 is a really good move. Most people would promote and miss 69...Rg2 winning the newly born queen or if Kxg2 it's stalemate. High class right there

Dec-21-14 Spirit of Adventure vs Donald Duck, 1959 (replies)

shoshonte: I just check this page! I was the one who submitted it! so happy it actually got posted. There's a tradition at my school that every year on the last day before Christmas break, we would watch Donald Duck in Mathmagic Land. One of my friends who is in the USAFA said that his calc ...

Dec-21-13 NN vs Santa Claus, 1908 (replies)

shoshonte: Proof that santa exists...
