sledgehammer: 39.Rxh6 is winning ;)

Feb-01-17 Carlsen vs Giri, 2017 (replies)

sledgehammer: Muttley101: I've read all the comments on this game, and I'm really surprised that no-one has said "Carlsen missed a mate in 3". I bet you haven't read all of the comments :)

   Jan-30-17 Bobotsov vs O M Hindle, 1967

sledgehammer: fredthebear, that's funny

   Jan-25-17 W Cohn vs Schlechter, 1897

sledgehammer: 57...bxc3 is winning easily, 57...bxa3 is winning too but it's not as obvious,as the rook have to be repositioned on the a1 square and the promotion can be done by check with the rook and then a2-a1. What a great game!

   Jan-25-17 W Cohn vs Schlechter, 1899

sledgehammer: 15...b5? and 19...f4? are like moves played by somebody else but not Schlechter!

   Jan-24-17 P Lombaers vs Short, 2017 (replies)

sledgehammer: 33.Qxc6 is winning the bishop and the knight or the rook for a rook! 44.Rb4 is the loosing move,as black threatens the rook and mate or a perpetual check. Congrats to GM Short for not giving up!

sledgehammer: "TheFocus: For one of the greatest players ever, he is represented by another poor bio. Yuck!" Exactly
