Jan-13-06 Plaskett vs J Polgar, 1989
|
subedai: I've used this variation of the 5. Bb5 grand prix myself a couple of times with quite a lot of sucess. White has the simple plan of Bxc3, followed by d6 and c6 with pressure against the double c pawns and black has to play very accurately - well worth a look. |

Jan-13-06 Kasparov vs Kamsky, 1993

subedai: Interesting the way Kasparov favours creating activity over getting his pieces out for the sake of it. |

Dec-11-05 B Lebedev vs Tal, 1955
|
subedai: Interesting that Tal gives up his "good" g7 bishop on move 10 with its opposite number still on the board. Can't argue with the result but it looks like extremely risky provocation. |

Dec-05-05 Short vs Gelfand, 1991
|
subedai: 20. Bc3!! - pure genius gaining a tempo and forcing black to reassess how he is going to generate counterplay |
