thirdeye: I found Nxf7 but instead of 20. d6 my idea was Ne4 threatening Ng5 and Nd6. The best defence for black seems to be 20... Ne5 which allows white to win back the piece with Bxe5

thirdeye: thanks <patzer2> for all the analysis After 27. Bxh6+ Kxh6 28. Rf6 looks much better than Rf7?? which I originally suggested It seems to win easy after 28... Qg7 29 Rh5+ Kg8 30. Rxg6 unless I'm missing something

Aug-05-06 Kramnik vs Kaidanov, 1993 (replies)

thirdeye: I didn't solve it, I spent most of my time looking at Bb5+. Does anyone else feel this rook sac would be much easier to spot if there was a black pawn on e7?

   Jul-21-06 Seirawan vs A Wojtkiewicz, 1992 (replies)

thirdeye: I saw as far as 53. Nh4+ then for some reason I only thought of 53...Kg6 54. Nxf5 a1(Q) 55. Qxa1 Bxa1 and forgot about 55. Qxd7+
