   Mar-23-09 Keene vs L De Veauce, 1967

thitho: 37th move is very nice... how to continue the game for victory!!! Very nice indeed...

   Feb-23-09 G Minchev vs D Miraschiev, 1986 (replies)

thitho: Yeah, my problem is that I found the combination, but after having thought, the black knight is not forced to take the queen...

   Jan-29-09 E Ilfeld vs Halb, 1993 (replies)

thitho: Is it me (am I improving?), or it does not owrth a thursday? Just had a few doubts, during three or four seconds where to put the queen on move 13. then saw that on 13. Qh4, there is ...h5

   Jun-01-08 Tal vs L Karlsson, 1980

thitho: I think the 41st move should be at least a wednesday kiblitz...

   Jun-01-08 E Mortensen vs L Karlsson, 1988 (replies)

thitho: i guess it was an easy one: i found it too... this is not normal :-)

   May-27-08 Geller vs P Ostojic, 1969 (replies)

thitho: easily found the key -unpin the rook; easily found the solution: sacrifice the unnecessary queen or at least deviate the necessary white queen after 28 ... Qe4 29. Qc8+ (if 29. QxQ then, mate in two) Kg7 and then white has nothing... even 30 Rf3 just makes it a little bit longer.

Apr-28-08 Portisch vs Sax, 1971 (replies)

thitho: What a beautiful combination of 6 Knights moves, chasing poor black queen... these are the kind of moments when I'd like to be the algortihms in the head of the champ; does he see the six moves? Or does he only approach the complications in which he puts the opponent? And if it is so

   Apr-28-08 B Rositsan vs A Hervais, 1998 (replies)

thitho: the fact is that Re8 is probably the worst move possible in this situation. What could have black done, instead of this? I, as a stupid hedgehog, would have played 19, ... Qe7. I don't see a point to make Na5 (the bishop will calmly go on d3 to transpose threat). What else? And if ...

   Apr-15-08 S Palatnik vs Geller, 1980 (replies)

thitho: the worse is that after Bxg2, white's moves are almost forced... to win. hehe I guess Geller's mistake can be explained like the one Zukertort committed against Steinitz in the decisive game to become world champion... If there was no pressure on these players, Zukertort would have ...

   Apr-11-08 J Arnason vs Nunn, 1990 (replies)

thitho: <YouRanq> happy to read you here, because, as interesting as all contributions are (and they are!), it seems that most of our fellow players eluded the solution proposed by the two players until the 22nd movement. I really think 23. ... Kf7 is a mistake here from Nunn. Of ...
