Jul-15-08 G Lebredo Zaragoitia vs Petrosian, 1978 (replies)

vescovifan: the other guy certainly made some dubious moves... starting with 1. b3?lol

May-21-08 H Runde vs Morten Jensen, 2003 (replies)

vescovifan: I was looking at 20. Nf6+, if 20..Kf8 21. Bd6+ Bd6 22. Qxc8 Rxc8 Rxc8+ with mate next. And if it gets a lil tricky 20.. Kh1 21. Nh5 (21..g6 22. Be5+ Kg8 23. Rxc8+ Rxc8 24. Qxc8+ Bf8 Bh7!) and 21...Rg8 Be5 22. f6 Nxf6! wins also i think.. A stronger player needs to check this but ...

   May-01-08 Nunn vs TASC R30, 1995 (replies)

vescovifan: <whitehat> 20. Nxd5 wins the piece back at least and doubles the pawns, the black king is exposed to Re1+ ideas, I was too lazy to look at some computer variation but looks like white is much better.

   Apr-27-08 I Ivanov vs Kudrin, 1989 (replies)

vescovifan: Ok I got c5 and thats it. I wa looking at 25...d5 trying to block and I figured the diagonal would be open anyways after 25. exd5 Now question.. Why doesnt white take en passant after f5? is the bishop sac faster?

   Mar-21-08 G Sigurjonsson vs L Ogaard, 1978 (replies)

vescovifan: yea i removed it because as i was going through the moves i saw the in between move :P thanks!

Mar-14-08 Short vs Psakhis, 1985 (replies)

vescovifan: i got it, i really did, im shocked but i dismissed it because i cant see the winning combination here.. i still cant... I thought "well it gets the piece back.." and thats it.

   Mar-06-08 Korchnoi vs Filip, 1962

vescovifan: Can someone explain why 37. Bxe4 isnt better than Rxe4? i've been looking at it for hours.. theres probably an in between move im missing
