Nov-11-09 Kramnik vs Ponomariov, 2009 (replies)

zapzowie: This is quite a zugzwang. Great performance.

Jul-10-09 Kramnik vs Carlsen, 2009 (replies)

zapzowie: My recollection is probably older than yours.

Jul-03-09 Jakovenko vs Naiditsch, 2009 (replies)

Feb-21-09 Kamsky vs Topalov, 2009 (replies)

zapzowie: Great job, Kamsky!!!!!!!

Feb-18-09 Kamsky vs Topalov, 2009 (replies)

zapzowie: Thanks to GM Short and cg.com. Kamsky still has a chance if he can somehow even things up. The shortness of the match is really in Kamsky's favor because of the volatility or "luck" factor.

Feb-17-09 Topalov vs Kamsky, 2009 (replies)

zapzowie: Thanks to cg.com for getting Nigel Short as the commentator.

Feb-22-08 Topalov vs Anand, 2008 (replies)

zapzowie: I believe this is the Kasparov variaton which is characterized by Nf3. I think it was used a lot in his matches against Karpov.

Jan-27-08 Anand vs Kramnik, 2008 (replies)

zapzowie: okay-I guess it was harder for white to win this game than I thought. Quite something to watch though. Congrats to both players. That king move by Anand was astounding. Never seen anything quite like that move before.

Jan-20-08 Carlsen vs Gelfand, 2008 (replies)

zapzowie: C didn't shake S's hand because of bad blood that goes back to the Kramnik-Topalov world championship match. S severely criticized Topalov's behavior in that match. C was Topalov's second in the match. Therefore no handshake.

   Jan-19-08 A Saidy vs Fischer, 1968 (replies)

zapzowie: RIP Bobby, Farewell to a genius.
