<Hubris, Shamelessness, Self-Entitlement and embracing your inner Gigantic Fatass>

Meet <Layla Cameron>: Social Justice Warrior and Gigantic Fatass:

https://dbl4hsd8tfgwq.cloudfront.ne...

You might ask what these two titles have in common?

Hubris, Shamelessness, Self-Entitlement and Embracing your inner Gigantic Fatass.

I just spent 11 years working in Korea, where Korean people routinely put in 14 shifts as a matter of course. There are virtually no fat people in Korea. Korean people have almost no sense of self-entitlement. If they don't work, they expect to starve and die- literally. If they don't work, they expect shame from their family and neighbors.

Korean people work for a living. They take pride in themselves. They are not social justice warriors and they are not gigantic fatasses.

<Layla Cameron>, on the other hand...

"Cameron, whose documentary Fat Hiking Club was recently screened at the Vancouver Queer Festival..." informs us that "In Western countries... people are encouraged to be constantly fighting against fatness through diet and exercise."

Well yes, because in non-Western countries people are not GIGANTIC FATASSES.

According to (gigantic fatass) Cameron, gigantic fatasses face bias and discrimination: "Not only is there lack of structural accomodation for fat bodies- it's hard to find clothing, comfortable chairs, seats on airplanes- the discrimination cuts to the core of what it means to be human."

Notice the total failure to take any personal responsibility of any kind. It is discriminatory of private companies not to accommodate the special "needs" of gigantic fatasses. Even though such accommodation may be unprofitable, she expects this to happen.

When she is suffering from some gigantic fatass related illness in a Canadian hospital, which is her destiny, I will have to pay her medical bills.

In Canada health care is entirely socialized. This means that I have to pay her gigantic gigantic fatass medical bills.

But there is good news! <Cameron> (gigantic fatass) now feels good about herself:

"As a queer person I was never afraid to come out to my family, but the fat thing was something that even in my liberal, tolerant family, was challenging... It took me until I was about 22 to be able to say the word fat and not cry about it... which is why we have pseudonyms like body-positive, or curvy, or voluptuous [or gigantic fatass]..."

Thanks to her new social justice warrior enlightenment, "Cameron finally decided to embrace the pseudonyms, and her body."

This turned out to be doubly fortunate, since nobody else was ever going to embrace her body, unless maybe she was a member of the Donner Party or some such.

Don't get me wrong- every person should have the right to just give up, show no pride in themselves, and become a gigantic fatass.

But liberty should come with a cost- and in the West, taxpayers foot the bill for self indulgent, weak, whining Stalinist fatasses like Cameron.

Aug-28-18  diceman: <jessicafischerqueen:

Some "Poutine Free Zone" signs should do the trick!

At first, I thought this was a challenge - can you wrap your arms all the way around her gigantic fatass, and touch your index fingers together?

My first thought was "I bet Patrick Ewing could do it!"

Then I realized it was a metaphorical kind of embrace.

I still think Mr. Ewing could do it...

Aug-28-18  thegoodanarchist: The worst part about it?

NOT being a gigantic fatass is really rather easy, with the right knowledge.

We can riff on "gigantic fatass" too!

Homage to <A Few Good Men>:

The Galactically Fat Layla Cameron.

Then there are...

Ginormous fatass (my personal favorite)

More rotund than a rotunda...

Lard Butt.

What am I missing?

Aug-28-18  Big Pawn: <thegoodanarchist: So now we are to believe that "read the bible" and "follow the bible" mean the same thing!?

Sloppy Jim <Tuna> really stepped in that one. Yes, I agree <tga>, the level of discourse over there is not good. It's uninteresting. When <Winston> and <Nizzle> cover the page in spam posts, and the <tuna> not far behind in crap posts (level 0 - 3) then I'm afraid it's pretty boring.

The war has been won. We are now just bombing the rubble and watching it bounce.

Aug-28-18  Big Pawn: <JFQ>, thanks for sharing that funny story. We either laugh or cry, so I choose to laugh.

<Gigantic fatass!> lols

No one should feel good about being unhealthy. It's like being a proud alcoholic or a proud heroin addict. It's like saying, "It's just who I am" if you're a junky. Doesn't make sense.

All of this feelings-first nonsense comes from too many soft, liberal women being in too many positions of power. Men have been emasculated and that leaves the women to take over. Unfortunately, most women are very liberal and are definitely feelings-first worldview people. That is a disaster.

I believe in the spiritual order to life that God gave us. God over Christ, Christ over man, man over women and women over children. When we move that spiritual order around and stack it up differently, we end up with <Gigantic Fatasses> who giving esteem lectures at queer clubs.

I'm glad you're on the right side of things, <jfq>. It's always better to be a good woman and a righteous woman than to be what the world calls a strong woman. That goodness or righteousness comes from truthful alignment of the spirit with the spirit of God. These <Gigantic Fatasses> don't have that, which is why they seek to fill the void by stuffing their faces.

Aug-28-18  Keyser Soze: <.In Canada health care is entirely socialized. This means that I have to pay her gigantic gigantic fatass medical bills.>

lol I laugh on this. Twisted world. Its ok to be fat. But proud of hippo-shape? Its crazy.

Aug-28-18  Big Pawn: This very interesting article belongs here at the Elite Posters Cafe, as it is too elevated to post at the dog food table.

<Dozens at Facebook Unite to Challenge Its ‘Intolerant’ Liberal Culture>

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/08/28/...

<SAN FRANCISCO — The post went up quietly on Facebook’s internal message board last week. Titled “We Have a Problem With Political Diversity,” it quickly took off inside the social network.

“We are a political monoculture that’s intolerant of different views,” Brian Amerige, a senior Facebook engineer, wrote in the post, which was obtained by The New York Times. “We claim to welcome all perspectives, but are quick to attack — often in mobs — anyone who presents a view that appears to be in opposition to left-leaning ideology.”

Since the post went up, more than 100 Facebook employees have joined Mr. Amerige to form an online group called FB’ers for Political Diversity, according to two people who viewed the group’s page and who were not authorized to speak publicly. >

This is not a minor issue or a small story. This is the Trump effect, the spreading of boldness and courage. The good guys are fighting back!

<The new group has upset other Facebook employees, who said its online posts were offensive to minorities. >

Standard tactic. If it's not liberal, they usher in the R-WORD to attack it right away and try to kill it before it grows legs. It's their first line of defense. Find a brown person to say they feel the racism just dripping off these non-libs.

But is this tried and true tactic still working in 2018 in the era of Trump?

<One engineer, who declined to be identified for fear of retaliation, said several people had lodged complaints with their managers about FB’ers for Political Diversity and were told that it had not broken any company rules.

Another employee said the group appeared to be constructive and inclusive of different political viewpoints. Mr. Amerige did not respond to requests for comment.

The activity is a rare sign of organized dissent within Facebook over the company’s largely liberal workplace culture.>

Oh, so the trick isn't working so well anymore! Well how about that! Does anyone else besides me realize how important this is?

I highly recommend clicking the link and reading the rest of the article. I think this story is going to grow bigger and bigger.

<Big Pawn>

That is important news.

I just applied for membership which anyone can do from this <FaceBook page>:

https://www.facebook.com/search/gro...

It says my request to join is "pending"...

I'm not sure that is a good strategy for such a project- I think it would be more in keeping with the idea to have an open join policy.

So far they have only allowed 21 members past the gate:

<
Request sent
FB’ers for Political Diversity
21 members>

On the other hand, sometimes you want to keep the riff raff out. They might be wary of <New American Stalinist> spies and such.

I was successful in joining a closed "Blair Witch Project" facebook group that wanted to keep an "elite nerd" clientele.

I really doubt they vetted me much though. My posting record at facebook is appalling and should qualify me to join no group whatsoever.

Might have been a clerical error... I'm hoping for another on this more important free speech group.

When I see the name Ewing, all I can think of is who shot JR?

Aug-29-18  frogbert: Hello! May I ask a question here among the elite? <BP> Why is it that you consistently refer to anything female as inferior to anything male? And <jfq> - why do you seemingly feel ok with this? Are you content with being inferior, or are you actually a guy?

Excuse me for wondering. I'm neither leftist nor part of any group <BP> would refer to as «libs». But I'm sincerely curious.

Hi <frogbert> long time no see!

How are they hanging brah amirite.

To answer your questions, no I'm not ok with the old religious/philosophical tradition that places women as a secondary species under men.

Historically, this has been a prevalent doctrine in both the Christian west and the Confucian East. I am no fan of Pauline doctrine, nor am I a fan of Confucius, or "gong-ja" as they call him in Korea.

Me and my fellow foreign gal pals in Korea (many of whom were gigantic fatasses, I might add) used to refer to Confucius as "dong-ja."

No, I'm "not a guy," nor do I subscribe to the current speculation that <zanzibar> is a "girl," although he may or may not have said he played <Velma> in some kind of theatrical production of "Scooby Doo."

I don't even try to keep track of everything that goes on around here, and I don't have a great memory, so you can't really go by me on site history.

I maintain friendly relationships with many people at <cg.com>, some of whom have many beliefs and opinions I don't share. For me, needing to agree with everyone I hang out with has never been a sticking point.

But really, this is all you or anyone else needs to know about me in this regard:

I pick my own friends. I fight my own battles.

There's nothing more to it than that.

Anyways what have you been up to? I noticed you hadn't been around for what seems like years. I assume you are still doing professional chess journalism?
