Jun-15-15  centralfiles: 1 chessbuck is not so bad ;) You can qualify for a hard luck loan every day DO NOT pay them back if your a good bookie player you need the cash. If you dont want to bet this round (you must have something like 100cbs or less on hand to qualify for a second hard luck loan) don't cash your ticket so you can still take out loans. With a few thousand cbs on hand a lot can happen in 3 weeks.

WannaBe: <Bookie-man> In the description, it says "Round 7":

Norway Chess rd 1: Carlsen-Topalov: NOVELTY SPECIAL

Jun-16-15  MarkFinan: I deleted that last post. Due to unforeseen circumstances I'm probably going to win something.

Penguincw: For those who bet on Topalov for the game and P3, they're getting a huge payday.

< A winning 10 chessbuck ticket pays out 1228 chessbucks. >

Grr...

Jun-16-15  WinKing: <Penguincw: For those who bet on Topalov for the game and P3,...>

Guilty - P3. ;)

Jun-17-15  centralfiles: Keep those OVER/UNDER bets comin' the more the merrier.

I'm currently in sight of second place, I'm not that far off anyway. I only put 150 or something on Carlsen because it was the opening game, but after I put my pick 3 bets on I thought I'd better have a small wager starting with a black win, just in case, and it paid off. I'm expecting a bad round anytime soon, I aren't usually this lucky.

Jun-17-15  MarkFinan: I'm just letting you chess bookie gamblers know.. If the games end as they look like doing, I'll be right alongside Sith lord Darth Chnebly! 30 on a W-D-W ticket pays out 4500 cb's. I can't think of anything worse for ceegee than an ex troop member winning the chessgames dot com chessbookies, and Sir Daniel Freeman having to congratulate him. That's what motivates me, lol :)
Jun-17-15  centralfiles: looks like I crashed mark so 2nd should be fine for you :)
Jun-17-15  centralfiles: Sorry mark white draw white doesn't seem so likely anymore...
Jun-17-15  MarkFinan: I know, I'm gutted. That Hammer's rubbish, lol. I only took a 300 cb hit which will be a lot less than a lot of people. There was a lot of money on Carlsen and It swayed my decision, I do usually bet on Carlsen anyway but I had my doubts today. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Sneaky: It's simple psychology folks. After that disaster in round 1, Carlsen is not more likely to win, he's more likely to lose.

<Norway Chess rd 2: Caruana-Carlsen : Caruana [cash in ticket] 125 YOU WIN! COLLECT 596> <Norway Chess rd 2: Caruana-Carlsen: DRAW NO BET : Caruana [cash in ticket] 400 YOU WIN! COLLECT 986> Hehehehehehe

Sneaky: I'm not going to say that Giri will win, but let's say his chances of beating Carlsen have never been better. :-)

  Penguincw: Odds of the winning P3's so far: 122:1 (R1), 46:1 (R2) and 24:1 (R3).

These odds though...

Jun-18-15  centralfiles: What happened to over/under ?

Over/Under will probably return in round 5. In the meantime, you should have plenty of other opportunities to make a profit :)

Jun-18-15  centralfiles: <In the meantime, you should have plenty of other opportunities to make a profit :)>

probably more like plenty of opportunities to crash :)

Sneaky: I hit that 122:1 pick three, but I only had 2 bucks on it. There's something to be said for running down the list and tossing 2 bucks on everything that nobody else bets on.
Jun-19-15  MarkFinan: So your the guy who puts 2 cb's on each bet, lol. I stick to odd numbers like 169 on some bets, but I was rushing yesterday without using my tried and tested formula so I took another hit. I'm back focused though.
Jun-19-15  MarkFinan: Btw Sneaky.. I had $5 on the same odds kinda bet, And I'll return from this unforeseen disaster. Jedi powers mate, lol.

Penguincw: Hehe, 61:1 odds with P3.

I should keep doing this until it fails.
