<blingice> I'd be up for another game. I think this one will be drawn, I don't see how either pawn can be promoted. Maybe I can do another game when <WannaBe> returns from Susan Polgar's simul.

WannaBe: <blingice> you mean the current comp vs comp match? Or the simul. with Ms. Polgar?

From what has told me, earlier on her page. She will be there until last man standing. So I hope I can get in more than one game.

(If that's what you're asking. =)

  WannaBe: <Dionyseus> Draw?
Jun-12-06  Dionyseus: <WannaBe> Agreed. Good game, my opening was too passive, Shredder attacked the entire game and Rybka defended. If we play another, I'll use Rybka's book this time.

WannaBe: <Dionyseus> Good game! The eval by shredder apparently had the current black's pawns position taken into account. But the -1.67 is actually quite misleading.

Either king can leave their current position and the 2 kings will just shuffle back and forth. I'm up for another if you are. You want to let Shredder try white next time? And I'll just do the same thing, leave it on infinite analysis. =)

Expect me to post my move next Tuesday. =)

Jun-12-06  LIFE Master AJ: <Wannabe>

An entertaining game, I followed the whole thing closely. Shredder looked like it was on the verge of winning ...

I doubt any human GM could have held White's position ... Rybka's defense looked bad, but actually was very solid. (A sort of "bend, but don't break" way of playing - if you will allow me this small analogy.)

Congrats to BOTH parties, this game - a deserved draw - was probably conducted more carefully than most computer tests.

Maybe you will do a whole series of them? (It would be interesting to ascertain the results, after say 50 games.)

WannaBe: <LIFE Master AJ> 50 would be too much for me to handle. =) But we'll do one more with color reversed.
