And get all the different opinions from people.

Apr-30-08  brankat: It has been exactly 20 years (!) since Lucas's filly Winning Colours won it. I remember it like it was yesterday. Remember the winning ticket, too :-)

Who knows, perhaps it's time for a girl to stick it to the boys again -)

May-04-08  brankat: <Robin01> <WannaBe> A tragic day in Kentucky indeed.

Reminded me of 1975 "Match race of the Century" in Belmont park, and the Ruffian tragedy. Is anybody here old enough to remember the race?

May-04-08  brankat: Yes Jimmy, things are getting real bad.

  jessicafischerqueen: Hi <MannBee>!!

Well I have yet another computer question and I hope you have time to help me!

I have a new Laptop and it's running Windows XP.

Ok you know how when you have a "search box" like the one for GOOGLE?

And you start typing in some words, and then the "history" of all your previous searches appears below the search box?

And this happens on every single search box on the Net on my Computer.

My question is this.

How do I shut off the function that shows previous searches?

I know there is a way to do this but I'm afraid to try it on my own in case I "unconfigure" my computer or wreck it somehow.

Do you know how I can make it so the search history thingie is turned off?

Thanks <MannBee>@!!

WannaBe: <jessicafischerqueen> See if this helps:

Click to open Internet Options. (Under Tools)

Click the General tab, and then, under Browsing history, click Delete.

Under Form data, click Delete forms, and then click Yes to confirm that you want to delete this information.

Under Passwords, click Delete passwords, and then click Yes to confirm that you want to delete this information. (Optional...)

Click Close, and then click OK.

Stonehenge: <jess> I think you have to go to Internet Options and then Advanced. Then you have to sought it out yourself :0 (don't know how to translate technical Dutch into English-sorry)
May-04-08  NakoSonorense: <Jess> My sister asked me the same thing a few months back. Here's how you do it:

1. Go to Tools
2. Go to Internet Options
3. Go to Content
4. Go to AutoComplete Setting
5. Clear all boxes
6. Be happy as a rabbit

May-04-08  NakoSonorense: I wonder how some people are so smart/fortunate to make such a ridiculously huge amount of money, yet so stupid/inconsiderate/egocentric/selfish to spend it on a 2 billion-dollar home.

It's simply beyond my comprehension. Disgusting.
