| Mar-04-15 | | chessmoron: <WannaBe> Is there any software that I can use to fix some videos that displays "Error Loading Skin: Crossdomain loading denied"? |
|
Mar-04-15
 | | WannaBe: If you use Firefox, this may help
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/q...
If not, more information would be very helpful. Is it a streaming video embedded? Like Youtube. Is it a pre-downloaded via torrent?? Are you viewing it by VLC? Windows media player? More information, the more helpful. Asking a generic question without any background or reference point is often unfruitful. |
|
| Mar-05-15 | | chessmoron: IE, Firefox, Chrome, and Opera all displayed the error. http://www.flashx.tv/
Click on any links and click proceed, the error shows up on every video. |
|
| Mar-05-15 | | Alien Math: Which device are you using? a phone, desktop or iPad or other? Which Adobe Flash Player version do you have?
http://www.adobe.com/software/flash... to the right it shows your version and at the bottom it shows the current versions available, |
|
| Mar-05-15 | | chessmoron: Laptop. Using the current version of flash. |
|
Mar-05-15
 | | WannaBe: <chessmoron> It is my strong suspicion, that the latest Adobe prevents you from viewing the video: http://www.dwuser.com/flashslidesho... If you are viewing a video on flashx.tv but the actual content is somewhere else, Flash will not let it be shown. This is different from Youtube, where contents are uploaded, and are <ON> Youtube server (hence, trusted). |
|
| Mar-05-15 | | chessmoron: How do I fix the problem? I read the link you provided but I don't understand what I'm suppose to do. Also the last link that direct to a blog is dead. |
|
Mar-05-15
 | | WannaBe: You can find out the real link of the video, copy/paste to view it. This <may> work, as I don't use flashx.tv and don't know if the actual link(s) to the various video(s) can be obtained. As with http links, by hovering the mouse will show you the actual link, in Flash, this may not be possible. You may be able to see target URL by reading/examining the HTML code... If you really, really, really want to see the video. |

 | | WannaBe: <heuristic> Nice article. I find it <VERY> interesting!!! 1. No space between the blades?? =) we are small (company) enough, that we can have 1U gap for air flow. (But I do realize this is not always possible, but if you got good enough air-flow or AC... =)) http://blog.stackoverflow.com/2009/... looks like my (company's) back, too. 2. We use Dell Servers, as our company have corporate account, so PowerEdge whenever I can. 3. Hot swap, hot swap, hot swap.
4. ESXi, ESXi, and give me more ESXi. Equalogic, and more hard drive space, Scotty. 5. VMs, VMs, VMs, give me warp 9.9 |

7. We have HP ProCurve as our main switch or traffic cop for internal traffic. Then sent to Firewall. 8. Dealing with Dell, (especially SAS and PCIe cards can be a pain) as mentioned in the article. 9. We have a couple of Precision T3600 machines, and every time I am asked to make them dual boot or re-install OS, it's a freakin' pain. For an one-man (me) shop in a small 70 people corporate division, I have my own hands full. I can't imagine what these big boys with their (full) IT-staff have to go though. |

<MannBee>
I was hoping you might have some insight into this "computer problem," or that you might know a "fix" for it. I may be moving back to Canada at the end of this summer, and the last time I was in Canada I couldn't access the following: My Google email, my Yahoo email, and my Youtube account. All three demanded "cell phone verification."
The problem is, that my cell phone is a number in Korea, so that's the only number they make available for me to verify my accounts. I can't verify these accounts with a second "Canadian cell phone," because that option is not given by any of these websites. I have been looking up and down at the relevant "help" forums on these websites, and I have yet to find a fix for this. I kept getting this message from all three websites:
"Please sign in from a recognized device."
By <recognized device> they mean a computer that has a Korean IP address. Does this mean I have to stay in Korea forever if I want to keep my email and youtube account? |

 | | WannaBe: <JFQ> My first question is, are you going through a proxy for your internet (service). If you use IE: Tools -> Internet Options (last one) -> Connections -> LAN Settings (bottom) Firefox: Tools -> Advanced (far right) -> Network (3rd tab) -> Settings (first button) Chrome: Click on that 3 bars at the end of the address URL box -> Settings -> "Show advanced settings..." (at bottom) -> "Change proxy settings..." If you are using proxy, you need to clear those when you return. Because you may need to input new settings (very unlikely). 99.9999% of US/Canada ISP do not have proxy to control web access or content filtering. I understand S. Korea is a democracy, but I don't know how much they control access to internet. Second option, while in South Korea, enter a cell phone number in Canada a week before you leave, (Mom? Sister?) and then hope yahoo/google/youtube don't find it weird that your IP is in S. Korea and your phone is in Canada. And if those web site send you a confirmation text or pass code, it need to be forwarded to you... What a pain. Once home, change that phone number to one that is yours. Option 3, see if you can disable this phone verification (Or "Two Step Verification process") via account setting for Google/YouTube/Yahoo and once you are home, re-enable the two-step verification. Option 4, if option 3 is not available/possible, send emails to the three web sites telling them your situation and ask them for help. |
