Jun-13-18  Dr Winston OBoogie: Mexico?? I can understand Brazil, Germany and Argentina but who's betting on Mexico!? That reminds me I need to get my bets on today. I'm just going to spread £50 out and put little wagers on group winners, match results, top scorer (btw you could do worse than having a few $$ on Mueller of Germany, I think he's something like 40/1!) and of course the winners.

It's not strange at all. The interesting bookie report that <WannaBe> posted was about bettors in Las Vegas. I suppose Nevada, like most of the Southwestern US has a large Mexican/Hispanic population. If the USA was in it, they'd be a bit "overplayed" as well. After all, many (non-professional) gamblers put wagers on their favorite players and teams. Betting with your heart and not your brain, one could say..

WannaBe: If I did the math right, game will start Thursday morning 6AM Pacific Time, can someone post "Game Have Started" message?

Much appreciated it, and thanks in advance!

Jun-13-18  Count Wedgemore: No problem, <WannaBe>. I'll be watching the game on live television here in Norway, so I'm happy to do it.
Jun-13-18  Count Wedgemore: By the way, there's a time difference of ten hours between Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) and Moscow Standard Time (MSK). The game starts at 6pm MSK, so it will be 8am in the morning on the US West Coast, not 6am.
