Mar-15-06  Robin01: After this game is over, if anybody wants to play a game with me, I'll probably be up to it.

WannaBe: <Robin01> You want to do it on-line like FICS, yahoo? or coorsp. like queenalice, gameknot or just in the forum like right now?
Mar-16-06  Robin01: <WannaBe> Maybe next week. A little too busy this week. We have them thinking hard again. This is a good thing.
Mar-16-06  Robin01: <WannaBe> I guess the forum we use depends on what we set as a time limit for the game.

I believe the response is ...Rd7

Mar-16-06  Robin01: Yes, 54...Rd7 is our move.

WannaBe: Okie Dokie, after they move the Q, should we move the K over to c6 and attempt a pawn capture?

Gonna shower and head to work...

Mar-16-06  Robin01: We probably should keep our king more centralize for right now. I guess it depends on where they move their queen. We will have to see what sneakiness they are up to!
Mar-16-06  Robin01: I do not think it is a good idea to move the king over to the "a" file. It is too far away from the king side and that does not look too good. White might be able to trade the queen for one of our pieces and our pawns with our king over on the "a" file, and then we will not be able to stop white's king side pawns. We have to be careful.

Should our king head back to e6 square?

Mar-16-06  Robin01: I really need to analyze this now before I decide. I will be home late tonight, but we have a lot of time. Let's not get in too big of a hurry.
Mar-16-06  NakoSonorense: hey wannabe. its been a long time since he last time we played... wanna play a few 5-min games with me?

WannaBe: <NakoSonorense> I can't... not the best place (where I am at) for that. Try the kibitz' cafe, <DrDum> is there. He's always up for games. =) But he hates using yahoo. He hangs out at playchess or FICS. But he does have yahoo account.
Mar-16-06  NakoSonorense: BTW, im on yahoo/intermediate/intermediate blitz
Mar-16-06  NakoSonorense: oh, thx! maybe some other time, then. take care

WannaBe: Team! The opponent has asked (again) if they can replace a player.

I really have no problems with it. So, that's my vote...

Mar-16-06  Robin01: They can replace as long as the player does not have a "GM" in front of their name.

I have no problem with it.

Mar-16-06  sitzkrieg: Me neither, np.

Honestly I can understand why so many people leave the game, it is taking a lot of time. I myself now take much less time analyzing the positions then 10-20 moves before. Based on my not so deep analysis i go for Kf6 in this position. Maybe we can pick up the a pawn some day../year

Mar-16-06  RonB52734: I don't particularly have any problem with Kf6. I think Re7 accomplishes the same thing. A lot of useless chasing around. Frankly, I occasionally think about just giving up the game, or about saying to <me to play>: "we believe the game is a hopeless draw and that you should call it. If Emperor believes there is a win, he should privately have to prove it to you. If he does so, then tell us and we'll just resign." This is getting ridiculous.
Mar-16-06  sitzkrieg: The position is not really fun to play either if you ask me. Morale gets low..Maybe we should get 5 new fresh replacements, and ask if they mind...
Mar-16-06  sitzkrieg: I dont have too much fun playing this game anymore. I dont want to abandon the team for without me you are lost:), but I personally am ready to resign. I am looking forward to the analysis of the game. I dont think they have got a winning plan here, but they clearly want to try some more, and I am not in for that. If you guys want to play on, I will stick around but I probably wont be too active. Sorry for that, but maybe it might actually be a good thing for the team:)
Mar-16-06  RonB52734: How about if we simply suffer a time forfeit?
