WannaBe: Learned something new, since '69 when Save became MLB stat, only 5 pitchers have recorded a save by pitching 5 innings or more. 4 was done in regular season, and 1 in post (MadBum)

WannaBe: <CIO> LOL. I remember those mems... <chancho> North by Norwest, totally agree, the audiences know that the plane scene was filmed earlier and played on a screen behind. It was still drama. Same thing with the Mt. Rushmore chase scene.

Jan-13-12  technical draw: Yes, Sir, <Colonel> no more debate. But I will vote for myself as handsomest kibitzer.
Jan-13-12  Colonel Mortimer: Well there's no category for best tanned kibitzer - the self vote could be tempting there.
Jan-13-12  frogbert: sorry for not knowing, td, but who's your avatar? yourself, your kid, another relative or just a cute picture you run across?
Jan-13-12  Blunderdome: It is possible to change my vote? I'd like to vote for <cro777> for most informed.

  WannaBe: <frogbert> one vote, counts a lot, look at Bush vs. Gore, especially when the winner gets to put their finger on 'the button'.

Argument dismissed.

<Colonel Mortimer> Yes, we are much more light-hearted here.

Argument flawed.

  WannaBe: Hour left, One Hour left in today's voting!
Jan-13-12  Colonel Mortimer: Seeing as this is your warren, I won't hold you to the more rigorous standards of the Rogoff page.

Argument dismissed.

Jan-13-12  frogbert: <Argument dismissed>

in case you missed it, my point was the relative worth of one vote. anyway.

let me try one more, wannabe: in the political elections it's expected and considered good form that every candidate votes for himself/herself or his/her party.

in our context it makes very little sense and nearly nobody does it. except the funny guy, of course.

  WannaBe: <Colonel Mortimer> Perhaps the good sire would like to submit himself as Caissar host for next year.

Show me some rigorous stands? We would be highly honoured for such opportunity.

  WannaBe: Quick update, with about 50 minutes left...

<Best Informed>

9.3333 <tpstar>, 8.8333 <cro777>. There was a vote change from <chessgames.com> => <cro777>.

Jan-13-12  frogbert: <we are much more light-hearted here.>

most of the time, maybe.

Jan-13-12  frogbert: for the record: td won "funniest kibitzer" by a huge margin, relatively speaking, so it should be assumed that any nitpicking about "self-voting" is mostly for fun and regardless entirely academical. :o)
