WannaBe: <CIO> LOL. I remember those mems... <chancho> North by Norwest, totally agree, the audiences know that the plane scene was filmed earlier and played on a screen behind. It was still drama. Same thing with the Mt. Rushmore chase scene.

WannaBe: ¡Olé! ¡Olé! this is what I see for "¡Olé! ¡Olé!" (game of the day Mar-13-2026) I also know this issue have been around for a while, and it's not that important, in IT term, it is a level 'C', cosmetic fix. But I just wish to report it again. Can CG.com unify this ...

WannaBe: <FSR> March 11 is his birthday, and usually PoD is chosen from the birth date of the player. So unless CG.com decides to change the algorithm on how PoD is decided. We will randomly get "undesired" player(s).

WannaBe: Really need Dallas to beat Calgary in regulation, else take it to OT and win.

Can't let Calgary get 2 pts, 1 pt, OK. Zero, better.

Mar-26-15  Mating Net: You got your wish Bugsy. Calgary dropped a point which means the Kings can gain sole possession of the last divisional playoff spot with a win on Long Island tonight. I'm liking their chances, they play much better with their backs against the wall.

Mar-26-15  Mating Net: Oh yeah, big win.

Kings still have 2 more on the road, but Calgary has 5 straight on the road.

WannaBe: That big white Polish center for Zags is just killing the Bruins. Plus we can't rebound the ball for sheet.
Mar-27-15  Mating Net: Where is Gonzaga? I can't seem to find it on the map. Poland perhaps?

WannaBe: Bruins are out rebounded by 15 boards, right now, we are losing 66-50...

I like to know/see what the numbers are for second chance pts for Zags. Ugh!!!

Mar-27-15  Mating Net: I think the Zags won every important measureable metric. That was as comprehensive a win as you could get.

WannaBe: That big center for Zags was 8-11 from the field, 9 rebs, 2 asst, 18 pts to lead all players.

Ucla bench was out scored 18-2... Zags had 50 rebounds to 27 for Ucla.

Zags shot 12 more free throws, and made 10 more, Ucla lost by 12. Ugh!!!!

Mar-27-15  Mating Net: In an effort to cheer you up <Wannabe>, Calgary is down by 1 with 15 mins to go.

WannaBe: Holy (Snake Eyes), we possibly can catch and pass Vancouver 'Nucks for second place in the Pacific!!

Wow, from going out of the play-offs to possibly second in the Pacific Division! Daaaaaaang!!

Mar-27-15  Mating Net: Sounds like you're back <WannaBe>.

The Kings get a crack at the North Stars tomorrow night, a great chance to get some separation from Calgary and close in on the Nucks.

WannaBe: Okay, so now I am curious, after almost a year.

1. Are you Panther or Lightening fan?

2. How did you get into hockey, (being living in FL, or did you grew up some where else?)

Me, I got into hockey when Kings played Montreal for the Cup and McSorley got caught for 'extra' curved stick and we lost.

Then, them Ducks had the guts to win the Cup (earlier/sooner) than them 'long established' Kings.

Mar-28-15  Mating Net: It probably solidified when I lived in Spokane WA 20+ years ago. The Spokane Chiefs were a force in junior hockey. Mike Babcock was the coach and the games were off the chart exciting. Lower bowl, top of the line seats were 15 bucks or so. Dozens of players I cheered for and against made it to the NHL, some became real stars. The biggest name was Jarome Iginla, it didn't matter that he played for the enemy, Kamloops. The Chiefs knocked them out of the playoffs.

15 years ago the Panthers had Pavel Bure and boy was it great. He is/was the best athlete I have seen live in any sport. That list includes, Jordan, Magic, Nolan Ryan, Jerry Rice, Barry Sanders, Warren Sapp and a few other Hall of Famers. He had a Mercedes with a vanity plate that read RR 10 (Russian Rocket) He was going out with Anna Kournikova, he was the man, plain and simple. I went to 1 Panther game this year, but I'm not a fan.

I like the Kings because my grandparents lived in SoCal and I can remember watching them on TV. This is way back in the Triple Crown line/ purple jersey days. I never got to go to a game because my Grandfather could only drive short distances at night. I was pulling for the Kings like crazy when they lost to Montreal. I remember the stick challenge, losing 2 OT games, Barry Melrose, the whole bit.

Hopefully that gives you a clearer picture on the hockey stuff.

WannaBe: Man, if you lived/remember the McSorley stick thing, you, my best friend!! I attended games at Fabulous Forum at Inglewood (The Arena's nice, the not so the neighbourhood)...
Mar-28-15  Mating Net: The Kings were up 1-0 in the series, then came the stick challenge. Montreal waited until just about the end before the challenge. I remember the stick gauge they used to measure the blade. That was a crazy sequence. I agree, that makes us best buds.
