Penguincw: Ah, I see the Kentucky Derby is today. Considering the ChessBookie leg just started 2 days ago, imagine if <Switch> did a preseason, and have a bet on who would win the Kentucky Derby. That's true betting right there.

WannaBe: Hey, they had an octopuss pickin' World Cup winners, why not puppies?!

Another discard tix, race 5, Allied Air Raid is currently the betting fav, $2 across. (I usually do not bet on fav.)

Boy, I'm gonna be one tired wabbit by afternoon... May not even last until halftime of the GS game tonight.

WannaBe: Figures, Allied Air Raid led for 3/4 of the race, broke out and led for two turns...

I may collect $2.20 if that third place result holds...

WannaBe: Race 7, going with horsie 4, Barbados, currently 14-1. But have good career record, think I saw the horse a few years ago at Breeders' Cup. 15 wins, 2 seconds, 3 thirds and 1 fourth place finishes.

Not sure on the total number of career races entered...

WannaBe: Barbados came in dead last. I sure do know how to pick 'em.

Race 8, going with Kathballu, with Lee Marvin as jockey, gate 7, $2 across.

WannaBe: Loseville!! Man these times between the races are getting longer and longer, it was about 35 minutes with the earlier races, it's now 50 minutes.

Going to do $2 across on horsies 10 & 11 for race number 11.

Penguincw: I <would> do the same, except I'd do it for #10 Whitmore (30:1) and #17 Mor Spirit (12:1). Whitmore's jockey will be Victor Espinoza, who is looking to win his 3rd Kentucky Derby. He won the triple crown last year, and <almost> in 2014. Mor Spirit, well, it won Fallon's "Kenpuppy" Derby.

I'd put money on Nyquist, but 2:1 is kinda pathetic to me. Maybe betting on him to finish top 3, sure.
