WannaBe: Probably same as Black Sox (Oh, sorry, African-American Sox) or Pete Rose or Astros cheating vs LAD... Or like NBA banned that TOR player a few years ago and how Billup and Rosizer will be handled. Nothing to see here, keep moving. Couple of bad apples, 99.8% of the league is fine ...

WannaBe: Trekkies only, there's nothing like a full orchestral score for a movie, or a big scene, or climax.

(hehehe... I said climax

Star Trek probably did it better than anyone else, the only other one I can possibly want to mention is Star Wars and composer John Williams):

Nov-06-18  thegoodanarchist: < Keyser Soze: <wannabe> You might like the book " Somebody to Love: The Life, Death and Legacy of Freddie Mercury".

Just read fews months ago. Very focused on his illness, and how affected him, showing basically that he fought against the disease since half of his career (since around 82). Tough but nice reading.>

I just learned, via google, that he was born in Tanzania!

I am shocked! I of course assumed he was American.

WannaBe: Got the chance to see Bohemian Rhapsody this afternoon. Solid B+ movie.

(I am a tough critique)

WannaBe: Oh, I think I caught 2 Easter Eggs in the movie, probably out of the 200 that was in there.

There was a scene during a party, two women riding stationary bicycles. With their rear-ends pointed at the camera, slightly off to the side of the shot.

Scene with Mike Meyers, playing the producer, that fronted the money to the band, that would eventually come back months later with the tune "Bohemian Rhapsody"

Have to listen to the dialog very, very, carefully, hilarious stuff.

(Just remember the scene from Waynes' World and the car, and the song)

OMG, they did release "I am in love with my car", just found the official video on YouTube.

Dec-03-18  Keyser Soze: <wannabe> I agree. B+ movie. Not great or the most biographical precise movie. But very fun to watch especially for the fans, and hopefully, wake up this new generation for that good music..

Btw, I think Rami Malek will get a nomination for the Oscar. Just a hunch

Dec-03-18  technical draw: Hello, friends. I am using WannaBe's forum to let you all know that I will be in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida next week. My brother is dying of cancer and may not finish this year. I'm ok because he has fulfilled his 70 years (see Psalm 90:10). However my elderly mother is suffering so she will need comfort.

I will try to visit a local synagogue to stand for mourner's Kaddish.

I thank <WannaBe> for allowing me to use his forum. And I say hello to all my friends here. Peace, TD.

Dec-03-18  Count Wedgemore: Hi there, <TD>! Good to hear from you. I'm sorry about your brother. Take care.
