Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-14-06  Runemaster: A good win by Szily - perhaps his first good move was avoiding the Winawer variation (then Botvinnik's favourite).

From around move 33, Szily avoids the exchange of queens; it would have been hard work to win the ending against the two minor pieces with the 'a' pawn blockaded.

At the end, it looks like 42.Rxf6+ will be decisive.

Zenchess: Black was better until 24...Qe5?, allowing White all kinds of activity. The simple 24...e5 would have kept Black's material advantage intact.
