Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-18-05  RookFile: Fischer did well to escape with a
draw here. Apparently, Spassky
did catch him with an opening wrinkle
that had developed during Fischer's
absence from the game.
Aug-10-07  RookFile: Fischer had tried this 11. c4 against Portisch previously.
Mar-13-11  hottyboy90: Wow hardly any comments whatsoever.
Fischer doesnt seem to fare too well against Spassky in the Ruy Lopez for some reason

  talisman: unless it's the Breyer.
Mar-14-11  hottyboy90: This is the Breyer yet it looked like Fischer was stuggling for a draw here.
Sep-24-11  Zugzwangovich: This game was actually drawn on move 45. For some reason the last nine (quite interesting) moves didn't make it to the box score here.
Sep-24-11  Zugzwangovich: Rather reminiscent of #14 between these two at Reykjavik '72. In both games RJF plays the opening somewhat lackadaisically and gets into trouble when he overlooks or underestimates a Qf6 hit on his b2-pawn. In both Spassky achieves what looks like a winning position but only manages to draw. At least this game doesn't feature a goat move like 27...f6? in the earlier encounter.
Jun-03-12  RookFile: It really was excellent defense by Fischer, after getting into trouble.
Oct-27-12  Chessdreamer: The last nine moves were <37.Ke1 Nf4 38.g3 Nxh3 39.Kd2 Kb5 40.Rd6 Kc5 41.Ra6 Nf2 42.g4 Bd3 43.Re6 Kd5 44.Rb6 Kc5 45.Re6 1/2-1/2>.
