Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-07-03  drukenknight: Here is another Algaier (K.gambit); this one w/ an early d5 by black. I think that is the way to go. As white in this line; I prefer: 7 Qxg4 but you have to be careful where you place the queen after he hits you w/ the B.

In this case black comes out of the opening fairly well (early ...d5 was very helpful) but 12...Re8 may be better?

the f3 motiff is an invention of Cochrane I think.Sometimes it is very useful but the timing has to be there. here 9...f3 just opens up a lane for the rook.

Feb-07-03  Cyphelium: The final position is pretty unclear.
Feb-07-03  drukenknight: what is blacks next move? it looks like Be7 then what QxR?
Nov-05-09  WhiteRook48: looks pretty even
