plang: In an earlier thread I had recommended Joe Gallaghers "Winning with the Kings Gambit". While lloking at the chapter on the Becker Defence several glaring errors were uncovered.

Gallagher recommends 8 Ng5..hg
9 Rh8..Bh8
10 Qh5..Bd4
11 Bg5..Bf6
12 Qh7??

As Neil McDonald points out this fails to 12.....Bc3+ 13 bc..Qg5

Gallagher also says that ..8 Nc6 is a mistake and gives: 9 Ng5..hg 10 Rh8..Bh8
11 Qh5

However ..11 Qf6 looks like a more than adequate response to me.
