Dec-14-02  pawntificator: Beautiful infiltration of the King-side. Bruci systematically removes every obstacle in the path, relentlessly advancing on the black monarch. I just read in Chess Life that he won some big tournament recently. I forget which one now. This kid is fresh out of Cuba, the next Capa! heh heh, I wouldn't go that far yet. Boy, it really irks me sometimes, these young guys taking over the chess world. I never had a chance!
Aug-09-18  birimbombum: I was here, anyway.
Aug-09-18  paavoh: Nice finish: e.g. 34...Rxe6 35. fxe6 Qg7 36. Qh7+ Qxh7 37. gxh7+ Kxh7 38. e7 winning.
Aug-09-18  chessthomas: nice mate in your variation
36. - Kf8
37. e7+ Qxe7
38. Qh8mate
Aug-09-18  Ratt Boy: <chessthomas> Oooh, I saw the pawn promotion, butt missed that cute little line. Thanks!
Aug-09-18  centralfiles: <Chessthomas> if you want to get technical, simply 35. Qh7+ Qxh7 36.gxh7+ Kxh7 37.fxe6 followed by 38.h4 wins as well
Aug-09-18  JSYantiss: If this is the GOTD, the link to it on the front page is broken.

Yorkshire Fog: If this was the Game of the Day it has not been included on the Game of the Day Archive, and does not have a <Brutal Bruci> headline.
