Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-14-06  Autoreparaturwerkbau: There is simply no defense for 14.Nxc6! and black resigned.
Oct-17-09  outsider: would 12... b4 have helped?
Oct-17-09  Doktorn: <outsider>I don't think so, but I'm but a poor patzer. On 12...b4 I think the line 13.gxf6 bxc3 (if ..Bxf6. 14.Nd4 and white is piece up) 14.Qxc3 threatening both the bishop and the knight and of course the knight is pinned also.
Mar-22-10  Sem: Smorodsky must have felt so impotent, after only twelve moves. A bolt out of the blue.
