Jun-16-04  ConLaMismaMano: Battle between the top seeds in the World Youth Championship U-14.
Jun-17-04  MoonlitKnight: It's amazing to see how differently these two youngsters have developed the last eight months. Zhigalko will be 2478 on the next rating list, while Carlsen will be 2567.
Jul-16-04  rajendra: yha i want to watch the match
Nov-02-09  Whitehat1963: Carlsen won't even get near this tournament these days, while Zhigalko is leading the current version. Says a lot about their respective development and how impossible it is to predict how chessplayers will develop. Anyone listening on the <Wesley So> page?
Aug-24-13  senojes: According to game #2 of Mikhalchishin & Stetsko's "Fighting Chess with Magnus Carlsen" (2011), and Chess Tempo (http://chesstempo.com/gamedb/game/1...), there was another Carlsen-Zhigalko game about month earlier in Budva, Yugoslavia, in the European Under-14 Championship, in which Zhigalko played the same Pelikan (Lasker/Sveshnikov) variation of the Sicilian, but Carlsen won.

However, I can't find that game on Chessgames.com.
