Jun-09-09  Xeroxx: I find this game... nice
Jun-24-14  jerseybob: This loopy opening seemed to inspire brilliancies in Kozomara's GM opponents(see 1967 game vs.R.Byrne). Just when it seems white has plugged all the holes with 28.Bd4, Gligo opens a new one with 28..c6! White might've held on a a little longer with 29.cd instead of 29.a6?, but he missed the incredible odyssey black's c-pawn was about to take.

perfidious: <jerseybob> Thanks for calling attention to this game!

The opponents playing on 'their own' side of the board evoked memories of E Nikolic vs Fischer, 1968, but this looks a more entertaining and instructive game than the much better-known battle above.

Jun-24-14  jerseybob: perfidious: I bet Fischer knew of this game when he was playing Nikolic. If Bobby had done a volume 2 of his games we might've gotten his insights on that and all the other great stuff from 1968-72, and what a best-seller that would have been!
