Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-09-14  SpiritedReposte: Seems everyone plays 6. ...c5 in the Four Pawns Attack.

I always play 6. ...Na6?! planning e5 against the mighty pawn chain anyway, followed by c5 blasting the once proud pawns to bits.

Catches many players off guard.

And I suspect the pun "Nielson ratings" has been used already. Fitting here since Larson was darn good.

Jul-09-14  Poulsen: In 1954 BL was 19 years old - and clearly not as 'darn' good as he later became. However he won the danish championship - after a slow start, including this loss.

At the time he was off course considered very talented, but he had not yet established himself - as he later would - as the best danish chessplayer ever.
