At first glance your thought is "How can this be a draw? Somebody has to be winning!"

OK, let's see. 26.Rxf8+ Rxf8, and Black wins. 26.Rxa8 Qxa8 is even worse.

So Black is winning? No, White has to promote the pawn with 26.d8Q. Now 26...Rxd8 27.Rdxd8, and Black can't take either rook without being mated. Or 26...Bxd8 27.Rxf8#.

So White is winning? No, after 26.d8Q! Qxe8! holds the back rank together with an extra piece.

So Black is winning? No, I lied to you again. 26.d8Q! Qxe8! 27.Qxg5! Not sure where that came from, but now you see why the position actually is a draw.
