Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-18-12  YoungEd: White's resignation is understandable--down two pawns with no prospects of improving his position much. 12. O-O just seems to ditch the b-pawn for no compensation; maybe that was White's critical error.

Aug-23-17  sachistu: Good point <Stonehenge>. Chess Results makes this mistake in its cross table for Klasterec 1965-66. Poppy J Aarons won the Girls Under 12 at Torquay 2002, which puts her at age 11.

I believe White was Jana Bellin, who also played in that (Klasterec) event the next year, albeit she played under her former name Jana Malypetrova. This is reasonable, but I'd like to get confirmation before I submit a correction slip. Regardless, it definitely was not Poppy J Aarons!
