Feb-26-06  solstys: if Kc3, doesn't black's Qg3-e1-b4 draw?
Feb-26-06  TruthHurts: Well Kc1 is winning even faster yeah. Bacrot should resign now...
Feb-26-06  rxman: Sneaky - that's what happens when u come into the game at the end and you;ve been following all these games. Reminds me of when Leon Lett ran the wrong way for Dallas.
Feb-26-06  Dick Brain: <solyts> actually I think Black even then could win, there's no perpetual. But Kc1 certainly looks very, very strong,
Feb-26-06  grebenarov: all Aronian is doing with Kc1 is just giving White more time to get organized
Feb-26-06  artemis: Kc1 avoids a direct check. This makes it difficult for white.

Pawn and Two: Black will soon Queen another Pawn.
Feb-26-06  DevastatioN: Kb1 ends it I think, even pinning the pawn to the king black has the resources to win immediately. And Qb2 for the Qb8 check.
Feb-26-06  Fan of Leko: Kd1 and no checks that don't lose material. White should resign soon.
Feb-26-06  Dick Brain: There was an NFL wrong-way runner named Leon Lott? Never heard of him. The only one I know of is Jim Marshall.
Feb-26-06  you vs yourself: 55...Qb6+ and 56...Kb1 must be winning for black.
Feb-26-06  supertimchan: 0-1 offical
Feb-26-06  TruthHurts: Guys why are you arguing, white can't save it anymore, there are many moves winning easily now, white can't avoid a second queen...
Feb-26-06  DanielBryant: No but Leon Lett made a couple of other stupid blunders in his career that are laughable.
Feb-26-06  doglikegroove: Man, I keep getting caught with that flipboarditis too. Boy, is that annoying.
Feb-26-06  ARMENIA: Aronian's new nickname is Ironian
Feb-26-06  draginoth: Bacrot probably could have pulled off a win if 37. Rd1
Feb-26-06  ashalpha: lol. Got here too late. I was about to say this was a draw unless he places his queen in the wrong square, and what does Bacrot do but place his queen in the wrong square. 55.Qg8 is about as bad as it gets. 55. Qg3 holds the draw.

Pawn and Two: White's last chance to hold the game was with 44. Bc2!! dxc2 (-.27) (18 ply)
Feb-26-06  Chesstosterone: Again, this guy Aronian is amazing!!

He made all the game: A likely unsound sacrifice, struggle trying to even the game and finally finding a win. I guess Bacrot was just "following the idea" during the game that Aronian constructed. Congratulations to him and to all his fans, I guess the number of them is increasing even more.

Feb-26-06  satkow: Leon Lett started a premature touchdown celebration afer returning a fumball about 50 yards. Steve Tasker ran him and stripped him of the ball on the one yard line. The ball was fumbled out of the endzone and ruled a touch back, thus awarded to the bills
Feb-26-06  viky: what is status of other matches?
Feb-26-06  messachess: <doglikegroove> hey, what do you know--a handle even cooler than mine!
Feb-26-06  ARMENIA: Chesstosterone WHO is Aharonyan's number 1 fan? HINT HINT

Sneaky: I'm just glad Aronian won, otherwise our Armenian friend would have had a nervous breakdown.
