Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-06-07  beginner64: End game is so much like a beginner's game with white cornering black's king using rook and queen towards the edge of the board, as if the king is the only piece black has. King is the only black piece to move for 7 moves, from one edge to the other.
Mar-06-07  Ashram64: small tactics win...
Mar-06-07  Tactic101: What a king hunt to finish things off!
Mar-06-07  twin phoenix: nice pun!!
Mar-06-07  kevin86: An unusual king hunt-in that it will end with the capture of the queen, not the king. After 36...♔c2 or c1 37 ♖c3+ and the queen s a goner.
Mar-06-07  outplayer: Interesting game. recently I have played a blitz game where the black was mated after an attack by queen and rook. I was white and played trompowsky variation against a stronger player.
Mar-06-07  Themofro: Nice finish, brave peice sac, took me a while to figure out the point of it.
Mar-06-07  schnarre: Another fine employing of the Trompowsky! Chasing Black's King right through the middle of the board...
Mar-06-07  ChessNe1: Great pun to the game.
Mar-06-07  ajile: White plays a solid Colle structure after trading off his dark squared Q-bishop. Plus he weakens Black's pawn formation. This opening is similar to the London System except in the London White plays an early Bf4 and h3 to preserve the bishop with Bh2 if attacked by Black's K-Knight.
Mar-06-07  Zaius: Amazing pun!
Mar-06-07  cionics: 27 Bd5. What a nice move!
Mar-07-07  backyard pawn: Armstrong was strong-armed in this one.
Feb-27-08  D.Observer: Armstrong is not strong enough to win this one?!
