Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-15-07  Plato: I didn't realize that Sasikiran is rated 2700! Is that accurate? It doesn't seem to me that he's been consistent enough to break 2700 yet.
Feb-16-07  Cyphelium: <Plato> According to the FIDE rating list of January 2007, Sasikiran is nr. 21 in the world with a rating of 2700. (Akopian is nr. 20, also with 2700).

Feb-16-07  hitman84: <Plato>He's been very inconsistent and reached 2700 only recently.

Nice game by Igor Lysyj.
umm.. 5.Na4 another headache for grunfeld players.

Feb-16-07  Prugno: The number of strong players who have taken up the strange-looking Nadanian Variation (5. Na4) with good results continues to surprise me. This game is just the latest example.
Feb-16-07  hitman84: <Prugno>I'd play 5...Nf6 stopping e4.

Bu Xiangzhi vs Sasikiran, 2005
Browne vs Yermolinsky, 1998

Surprisingly Sasi has played this before, I wonder why he played Nb6 ?
