keypusher: Just played through the game. Really liked it! But ultraggressive, almost dicey by Kamsky. I don't think he'll be able to get away with this against (I expect) Aronian.
May-31-07  cotdt: fortunately kamsky doesn't have to play aronian next, but the winner of kasim-gelfand. amazing games today, all of them!

keypusher: <cotdt> Oops, thanks for correction.
May-31-07  cotdt: Kamsky took Bacrot for a camel ride :)
May-31-07  cotdt: A spectator at the games said he saw Kamsky apologized to Bacrot for beating him so bad.
May-31-07  Mameluk: Reminds me some canididates matches from my childhood. This man is a devil. Still hope he loses next round:)
May-31-07  chessmoron: Bacrot is eliminated then, right?
May-31-07  ajile: Kamsky transposes into a Dutch again this time a stonewall setup. Bacrot needs to study these lines more obviously. Kamsky is the guy to watch in this tournament IMO.
May-31-07  suenteus po 147: <chessmoron> Technically Bacrot is finished. Even if he were to win the last two games he still doesn't go on. However, I'm not clear on whether those two games are played or not. I'm guessing yes, because that's the way FIDE works :)
May-31-07  chessmoron: <suenteus po 147> That's what I thought. It's kind of useless to play two more games and Kamsky still wins.

Chant: USA! USA! USA!

May-31-07  Maatalkko: USA! USA! USA!
May-31-07  cotdt: If Kamsky makes it to Mexico, I think he will do well for himself. He does not have much problem against Kramnik or Anand.
May-31-07  tal lover: You Americans have to try to find another Bobby Fischer, Kamsky is a Russian that play for USA. Its funny see all your movies making USSR a devil and now all your hopes are in a russian
May-31-07  cotdt: "our russians are better than your russians!" -2006 Olympiad, when USA defeats Russia
May-31-07  zapzowie: All he has to do is change his first name from Gata to Gater and he can be an American "good ole boy" from the south.
May-31-07  mynameisrandy: Git'r Kamsky!

...I'm so sorry for that.

May-31-07  iron maiden: Nice victory and match win by Kamsky, he seemed to get a little bit better with every game. A good example of how the player with the two bishops can stand to profit from the rapid opening of the game.
Jun-01-07  polarlumpensack: gata is becoming the silent assasin.... watch out!
Jun-01-07  Topista: GO Kamsky!
You are a great player-hope u manage to beat Kramnik and Anand. I hope u'll never experience the cheatin allegations thrown against Topalov (especially for your performance during the first half of the 2006 Mtel masters).
Jun-02-07  savagerules: Botvinnik would have liked the stonewall Dutch played by Kamsky in both games as black. It's supposed to be antipositional but just try to crack it open, not easy.
