Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-21-09  Ulhumbrus: 10 a4 disturbs the pawns on the wing where Black has the initiative. An alternative is 10 Bd3 and if 10...Qb4 11 0-0-0 when the move ....a6 will have lost a tempo towards the playing of the move ....a5
Dec-21-09  talisman: Boris...Borrrissss...c'mon...tell the truth...Leather interior???
Dec-22-09  chillowack: It's a bad sign for Spassky that he's accepting a short draw with the White pieces a game down.

But Spassky hasn't played a serious chess match for decades. Matches for Spassky are more exhibition than competition.

Dec-26-09  AnalyzeThis: I think Spassky was showing his patience. He was only down 1 game at this point, and wanted to wait for a better opportunity to tie the match up.
