Sep-16-13  Abdel Irada: Withering attack. By move 39, Black is a pincushion.

Sep-27-13  grasser: I kind of felt I was in bad shape after 25.Ng5
Jul-09-16  chessperson2222222: Hmmmm... at move 30 I think Mr. Stripunsky could have inserted fxe7 followed by nf6+ and queening the pawn next move, recovering whatever material he would have lost.

perfidious: This middlegame comes to resemble one of the old-style KIA bashes of the sixties, with Black developing his queenside play in leisurely fashion, whilst his monarch is despatched without trace on the other wing.
Sep-10-16  grasser: <perfidious> I don't feel at all bad about this loss. Despite my reaching a high USCF of 2224 for 29 years I had two Chess careers. One from 1973 to 1983 and then again from 2005 to the present. I know absolutely no opening theory and have to play on intuition because I have Interstitial Cystitis and can only stay at the board from three to ten minutes at a time. Stripunsky outplayed me because he is a Grandmaster and I play at about the 1900 level. In all honesty I do not know where I went wrong in this game and how I could have improved my play. When they told me I was the 2016 Florida Senior State Champion on March the 6th I was completely surprised because I only scored 3 1/2 out of 5 and simply do not have the time to even check the cross-table due to my condition Not to mention I came in near 20th place back in 2015. I can only hope that one day I am cured and my best is yet to come and strive to play my best each game. I do small things to try and win such as buying my opponent a Coke so he has a Sugar crash mid game, but I really cannot study beyond watching "Chess Explained" on YouTube. I am however very proud of Grasser-Winokur.
