Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-24-11  goodevans: Elina maintains her 100% record, but it appears that she had a slice of luck here.

17 ... Ne4 looks unsound and her opponent gets a good attack going only to return the favour a few moves later with 21 Rxd7.

21 Bc4+ is apparently winning, but it's hideously complicated.

Feb-25-11  kingfu: goodevans,

Thank you for the analysis.

I was looking at 13...b5. Is it unsound for White to take the pawn?

Nevermind. If Bishop or Knight takes pawn, then black gets an attack starting with 14...Nb4.

Maybe not unsound but certainly risky.

Feb-25-11  Wyatt Gwyon: There had to be a win in there for White.
Mar-06-11  Hesam7: The game was level up to 16. Kb1? after which Black is winning. Then Black blunders with 17. ... Ne4? now White is winning but after 21. Rxd7 instead of the winning 21. Bc4+! Black is much better.
Mar-13-11  ReikiMaster: Unusual that no one finished undefeated. Here 17...Nxd5 looks ok. Now 18.Nxe7+ Kh8 19.Qxd7 wins.

ReikiMaster,
Can't Black force at least a perpetual check after 19...♘c3+?
