Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-25-13  luzhin: Amazing position after 12.Nd5!? -- White (outrated by about 400 elo) offers three pieces simultaneously. But as Tal once pointed out, the advantage for the attacker is that only one piece can be captured per move! If Black had castled on move 13 then 14.Qh5 is very strong: for example if then 14...Nge5 15.f4 Nc4? 16.Qg6! leads to mate.
Jan-28-13  Jim Bartle: Vojinovic says she was lucky to escape with a draw, as Rydell just kept attacking and using little time.

She analyzes the game on chessbase: http://chessbase.com/newsdetail.asp...

More than halfway down the page.

What's interesting is that she definitely has Rydell's low ELO in mind as she plays, hoping he will make a mistake. That turns out to be mistake.

Jan-28-13  whiteshark: Jovana annotated in an entertaining way her thrilling game here: http://blip.tv/gibchess/round4-voji...

Just check out the position after <12.Nd5!>

Jan-28-13  Shams: <whiteshark> Thanks for the link. Charming young lady with a great attitude.

Apparently in Serbia, <2.d4/ 3.c3> is called the Matulovic Gambit.

Jan-28-14  Jim Bartle: Her video of this game with Stuart Conquest has been deleted. Too bad.
