Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-15-13  xanadu: Hou only plays 1e4. and Ushenina always answers with the Sicilian, no surprise. By keeping this scheme it´s easy for Hou to retain the advantage.
Sep-16-13  dehanne: Is 11...Nd7 theory?
Sep-16-13  Nerwal: <Is 11...Nd7 theory?> I don't think so. 8... ♕c7 is already rare and after 9. h4 h5 we may be in unknown territory already.

11... ♘d7 is interesting but curiously black should probably take with the ♘ at move 14. After 14... ♔xf7 black's center d6-e6 is very fragile and the king is somewhat misplaced. Any opening of the center would prove dangerous for black as her rooks are still sleeping. Probably white could play more strongly somewhere and put black under pressure, but of course given the match situation there was no need to push too hard...

Sep-16-13  xanadu: I agree wth Nerwal: Hou had the opportunity to increase pressure on the open g-column, but she is ahead by two points, so why to take risks?
